Be Yoga Burien, formally Bikram Yoga Burien, is a yoga studio which strives to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, supportive, and healing. Each of our instructors are certified to teach students from all walks of life. Our intention is that, through conscious breath and movement, people experience their wholeness and are profoundly connected to themselves, their bodies and each other.

Bikram Yoga, 90 minutes
The original "hot yoga", this series was designed specifically for beginners, but is suitable for all levels and certainly remains challenging to the more advanced student. Every part of the body is touched, from bones to skin. Instruction is all verbal and the teacher talks the student through each posture, moment by moment. The room is heated to about 105 degrees with 40% humidity.

Bikram Yoga, 1 Hour
We also offer a 60 min Bikram Yoga class, which is an awesome supplement for those of us on a busy schedule. This is a fun, quicker paced class, where most postures are performed twice, and some postures flowed together. Beginners are welcome. As always, we encourage students to rest when they need to and not push beyond what the body is ready for. Room is heated to about 105 degrees with 40% humidity.
This 1 Hour class is a fun take on the Bikram 26/2 series, fusing Bikram postures with Vinyasa. You will recognize postures and try new ones. It is a challenging, yet meditative posture flow designed to work the entire body and bring the mind to a state of stillness. A great class for beginning and advanced yoga students alike! Room is heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity.
Vinyasa means to move with breath. This style of yoga is designed to promote lower and upper body strength, balance and flexibility all while coordinating the body, breath, and movement. It will strengthen your cardiovascular system, sculpt and tone every muscle in your body, and build your endurance. From time to time, we break down specific postures and add simple variations into the sequence, moving at a moderate pace. Room Heated 90-95 degrees with no added humidity.
Yin is slow and restorative in nature, working into the connective tissues. Excellent to reduce risk of injury and recover from physical activities, sports, and hot yoga, more quickly. Postures are held for several mins at a time and the class is relaxing in nature. The room is warm but not hot. Perfect for before or after your hot class. No heat is used for this class.
This is a fun, beginner friendly class that combines yoga, pilates, and HIIT (high-intensity-interval-training) principles to build strength in the core, legs, and back muscles of the body. We work the entire body from head to toe. Each class will follow the same basic format of using Vinyasa flow (yoga) to warm up, introducing weights throughout our flow. The weights are always optional, as is everything in class. Class is specifically designed to sculpt, and create long, lean muscle mass, burn fat and increase fitness levels. Get ready to burn, burn, burn and have fun doing it! Beginners welcome! Room is heated to about 95 degrees with no additional humidity added.

Our Barre class is a 60 minute full body workout that combines pilates, yoga, strength conditioning and ballet-inspired moves to give you beautiful, sculpted, lean muscles. A truly unique yet challenging workout, Barre utilizes the ballet barre to perform low impact isometric movements that lifts your glutes, tones your thighs, abs, and arms, and burns fat in a short amount of time. This regimented routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a long and lean muscle physique. Room is heated to about 90 degrees.

This is a class led by the instructor with minimal to no verbal instruction. The class is only appropriate for students with at least 2 months or more of practice.
